A moderate fitness level is needed. You should be comfortable walking 6–8 km daily on mountain trails and cycling short distances. The motorbike portion can be done solo or as a passenger.

Bring trekking shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, swimwear, a daypack, refillable water bottle, sun protection, personal medicine, and a flashlight.

Is it safe to ride a motorbike if I’m inexperienced?

Yes. You can ride your own semi-automatic bike or ride on the back of a local guide’s motorbike (no license required for backseat option). Helmets are included.

Can I skip the cycling or motorbike part?

Yes, we can customize the itinerary with a car transfer instead of cycling or riding a motorbike. Please inform us in advance.

Route: Sa Phin → Phuong Tien (~10 km trek) → Ha Thanh Waterfall (~7 km cycling) → Thon Tha

From Thon Tha village, continue your Ha Giang trip into the heart of the Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark, ascending via Quan Ba Heaven Gate at over 1,000 meters above sea level. Stop to enjoy panoramic views before descending to the peaceful town of Tam Son (Quan Ba), home to the iconic Fairy Twin Mountains.
After lunch at a local restaurant in Yen Minh town, travel deeper into the highlands toward the Meo Vac area.
